This isn’t your average Lightbox, vault dweller. This is a 3D multi-part assembly, with amazing depth and detail… not just a 2D light box. The lightbox assembles in multiple parts and can be printed on any printer, it does not require an MMS.

Instructions
Painting: If you are NOT going to paint yours skip these steps
- Using water-mixable Oil Paints:
- Prime using Primer filler to paint the frame and the face insert. You can do a couple of passes. The thicker the better as it will help remove the subtle layer lines.
- Wet sand using around 400 grit sand paper. This will help level out the contours and make the prop look way more finished when we paint it.
- Paint with a silver paint of your choice, I used Krylon Metallic Silver. Note metallic spray is pretty delicate, so be careful handling it.
- Clear coat using Semi Gloss Clear or laquer.
*This is in no way affiliated with the Fallout brand
NOTE: At this point, you can call it good unless you want to weather it – which is a lot of fun and gives it character. There are TONS of tutorials on this but here is what I did… - Weather: Use a mixture of Black and Raw Umber water-mixable oil paints. These are amazing, but keep in mind they take forever to dry, and you MUST clear coat or this paint can eat away at paint. Punished props has a great tutorial. Note: you can use basic acrylics, but they dry fast so you have to work fast.

- Follow the video and instructions 🙂
Assembly
Note: You will need some CA glue, and CA accelerator can help.
Install Lights: This step could go several ways depending on how you want to light yours. An easy route is to install a single led strip around the interior edge as close to the back of the frame as possible.

Extreme Lighting Option! You could also light each letter individually with Addressable LED’s for some cool effects.

Run wires through the hole in the back and Solder your + and – from your strip to a power supply that matches your LED voltage

Glue the faces to the Clear insert

Glue the faces to the Clear insert. NOTE: Glue the bolt faces to the bolt – pay attention as the parts have a specific fit on the bolt. Then glue the “a-insert” into the “a-clear” part and then glue that to the back of the a.

Glue the whole top layer to the frame plug er’ in and enjoy!!
