Lift Log was a mobile application design concept enabling users to track – with a high degree of detail – workouts. It was meant to be the best gym companion for tracking workouts.
The application would provide the ability to create workouts, add exercises, and re-use routines. Two core features where the ability for the app to calculate 1 rep max’s based on a rep set and it tracked your.
The goal of this application was to solve the age old problem of keeping track of workout details. I did research in gyms and asked countless individuals on what they most wanted in a gym companion and what existing solutions where out there and did not work. This information helped lead me to the Lift Log solution. Interestingly at the same time I had this idea an app was released called Strong that did essentially the same thing and its a phenomenal success.
